About Algorand
Algorand is a modern cryptocurrency that uses a consensus system for proof-of-stake. Algorand was initially established by a company founded by MIT professor Silvio Micali and launched in 2019. The architecture of the protocol is oriented to the prevention of hard forks. ALGO can be used for easy peer-to - peer value transfers in a way similar to Bitcoin.
